Campaign Categories
The campaign categories are listed below:
- Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) – Responsible for
the solicitation of federal employee giving only in Falls and McLennan
County. The greatest number of employees are in McLennan County. About
5 percent of total campaign.
- State Employee Charitable Campaign (SECC) – Responsible
for the solicitation of state employee giving in McLennan and eight
other surrounding counties. The greatest number of employees are in
McLennan County. About 9 percent of total campaign.
- Public Service – Responsible for the solicitation
of employee giving among non profits, quasi-governmental entities like
the Council of Governments, city and county governments. About 9 percent
of the total campaign.
- Education – Responsible for the solicitation of employee
giving among educational institutions, school districts, private schools
and educational support institutions. About 5 percent of total campaign.
- Corporate – Responsible for the solicitation of major
corporate contributions from all types of businesses. Typically, the
corporate gift solicited in this division should be $1,000 or more,
but because giving varies from year to year, in some cases one will
find corporate gifts of less than this. About 20 percent of total campaign.
- Loaned Executive – Responsible for the solicitation
of employee gifts primarily among the major private sector employers
whose employee workforce is around 25 or more. About 50 percent of the
total campaign.
- General Business – Responsible for the solicitation
of employee and/or small business owner giving (24 or less employees).
Includes both locally owned and national businesses. About 2 percent
of the campaign
- Professional, Individual, Leadership – Responsible
for the personal solicitation of individual giving from retired individuals,
individuals who run businesses from their homes, sales representatives
whose office is at home, and individuals who have chosen not to give
through their workplace. This division is primarily an individual letter
campaign. About 5 percent of the campaign.
